Coverage Highlights

Coverage

  • Collateral Replacement Product: Offers prospective and existing clients an alternative solution to traditional Letter of Credit requirements. Aggregate loss protection is also available.
  • Loss Portfolio Transfers (LPTs) and Close-Outs: Offers solutions to insureds seeking alternatives to expensive or burdensome collateral requirements, as well as close-out options for existing clients and clients seeking to escape ongoing self-insured or deductible liabilities.
  • Novations: Chubb can underwrite and “step in the shoes” of an original insurer in order to provide insureds with the financial security and stability they require for ongoing claims liabilities. Novations can be an alternative for insureds that have policies issued by financially troubled, undercapitalized, or exiting commercial carriers.
  • Structured Risk Products: Offers client-specific insurance products for large organizations facing a wide spectrum of risk management challenges, including difficult to insure exposures. Customized programs are designed to provide substantial capacity over a broad range of coverages. Structures can also be designed to meet the needs of clients who are willing to retain their exposure but have a need for AA rated paper, typically due to complex regulatory or rating agency requirements. These programs may involve reinsurance from a captive or matching deductibles. Coverages include, but are not limited to: environmental cost caps, professional and management liability, general liability, auto liability and workers’ compensation. Warranty exposures are frequently considered for fronted structures.
