Turn a covered loss into a win-win for you and the environment with Chubb’s Masterpiece GreenWise® Upgrade Coverage. If you suffer a covered loss to your home, this insurance provides coverage to replace affected windows or roofing with energy-efficient options, install Energy Star-rated appliances, or swap out your damaged water or light fixtures for low-volume or low-wattage choices, all to make your home more environmentally friendly. And, if your home is already certified “green,” meaning it uses materials and practices that are environmentally friendly, you can use the money to upgrade to more rigorous current standards.

Choose the level of protection you want

Purchase limits of 10%, 25%, 50%, or 100% of the value of your home. If you own a condominium or cooperative, the same options apply, up to the combined amount of coverage you have for contents, additions, and alterations.

Rebuild and make “green” improvements

You can use this coverage to replace damaged or destroyed items with environmentally friendly materials, low-impact processes, and ultra-efficient heating and cooling technologies. You can also choose to rebuild to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards, using ENERGY STAR-rated products, or other national or regional “green” building standards or certifications.
